Junior Clubs Set All Time Registration Records

Tuesday, February 2, 2021 - 8:24 AM

Clubs across the Central Conference have been working hard during the Summer to promote early registrations for the 2021 season.

The WAFC set up a competition to track early registrations in late 2020, with a number of clubs within the Demons, Royals and Swans zones achieving extremely positive results.

Year to Date participation records have been smashed by those clubs eagerly promoting their 2021 season.

The following clubs across the conference are to be congratulated for their incredible efforts.

Metro Central Regional Development Council Chair Hayley McNamara said “It’s fantastic to see so many clubs work hard to retain their kids for the following season”. Mrs. McNamara went on to say “To see clubs at the end of January already hit 50%+ of their 2020 numbers is incredible. Club volunteers should be congratulated”.

As a region the Central Conference has already recorded 2269 registrations for Years 3-12, which is an increase of 191 participants (9 Teams) on numbers recorded in 2018 at the same time.

We encourage all clubs that have not taken up the early registration option to do so.
